Enabling Google integration
Before you can use Google integration from Platform, you need to:
- Connect your Google account using OAuth 2.0 from My Third Party Settings.
- Enable IMAP on your Google account if you use incoming Gmail.
- If you are using Platform Private Cloud, see Enabling Google Apps for Platform Private Cloud for instructions on updating required shared properties.
Note: Platform does not support Gmail username-and-password authentication. The
googlePassword field on USER objects is not used for Google OAuth and does not need to be populated. Existing values in this field are not automatically removed.The following topics describe how to perform these tasks.
