Adding Master Database Details

The node-config.json file specifies the URL, username, password, and other properties that Platform uses to access the database. You need to edit this file manually to add master database details.

Edit the file as follows:

  1. Open node-config.json in a text editor.
  2. At a minimum, enter values for the following properties. For a full list of properties, see the reference topic for

    node-config.json

    Choose from:

    • Database name
    • Driver
    • URL (Make sure that no white space exists after the URL and before the </Url> tag.)
    • DbUser (Enter credentials for the account used to execute the Platform database script.)
    • Password

Drivers shown below are data direct drivers (except MySQL) bundled with Platform. Sample URLs for various databases:

MySQL
	url: jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/RB_DBO
	driver: com.mysql.cj.jdbc.Driver

PostgreSQL
	url: jdbc:postgresql://localhost:5432/postgres
	driver: org.postgresql.Driver

SQLServer
	url: jdbc:rollbase:sqlserver://localhost:1433;databaseName=RB_DBO;integratedSecurity=true;ConnectionRetryCount=10;ConnectionRetryDelay=10
	driver: com.rb.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver

OpenEdge
	url: jdbc:datadirect:openedge://localhost:9100;databaseName=RB_DBO
	driver: com.ddtek.jdbc.openedge.OpenEdgeDriver
