Synchronizing with Google Calendar

Events in the Platform calendar can be synchronized with Google Calendar. Events display in the Platform calendar for object records that have the Event attribute.

Synchronizing events with Google Calendar requires the following:

• Each user that wants to synchronize events with Google Calendar must enable Google integration and enable Google Calendar synchronization. See Enabling Google integration for details.
• Each object you want to synchronize with Google Calendar must have Google Calendar synchronization enabled in the Event attribute of the object definition.

With synchronization enabled, when an event is created or updated in the Platform calendar, the creator’s Google calendar will be automatically synchronized. Events marked as Private will also be private on the Google calendar. You might need to refresh the Google calendar to view the result of the synchronization.

To enable Google Calendar synchronization, the object definition must have the Event attribute and the check box must be selected for synchronization as shown below:
